If you’re not in work, education, training — or are at risk of this — this is your chance to break into the creative industries!
If you're 16-24, interested in creative fields, and have been on free school meals, in care, or facing other challenges, this opportunity is made for you.

Creative Catalyst Thanet is run in partnership with Co-relate, Remixd CIC and the Margate Creative Land Trust.
Jessica Rose, Co-relate director, has run creative work experience and work placement programmes for the Big Issue, Pavement Magazine, Peabody Trust, Creative and Cultural Skills and BBC Radio 1's Hackney Academy.
Elinor Seath, Remixd director, has worked in the community and creative sector for more than 25 years. As director of Art4Space in London, her work with young people included offering training, placements and work experience opportunities.
This project was funded by Thanet District Council as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Margate Creative Land Trust.
We're looking for creative organisations to sign up to become placement providers.
Co-relate and Eli Seath will work with you to design the ideal placement for a local young person and make sure you have the right policies and practices in place.

Who's it for? Young people aged 16-24, not in work, education or training and curious about the creative industries.
First Fridays at Marine Studios
You can also meet creatives of all ages at the monthly Marine Studios First Fridays. An invitation for the curious, this event from 6pm on the first Friday of each month brings together creatives from across disciplines to create an exhibition, performances and activities around the theme. It's very friendly and welcoming for all ages. Under 18s must attend with an adult.
