Green Catalyst - work experience placements for 16-25s
Young people in Thanet now have a new way to gain experience with green skills and careers thanks to funding from Thanet District Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
The new programme follows on from the success of Creative Catalyst Thanet, which connects young people with paid and unpaid work experience in Thanet's creative sector.
Green Catalyst provides paid and unpaid placements for the growing number of green jobs in the district. We are now recruiting for young people 16-25 who are interested in short-term unpaid work placements.
The types of placements on offer include:
- Administration and social media assistant - short-term, unpaid role now open
- Visitor engagement assistant - short-term, unpaid role now open
- Upcycled fashion assistant - this paid position has been filled.
- Carbon mitigation officer - this paid position has been filled.
- Community food grower and veg bag assistant - this paid position has been filled.
